For Vendors

An accurate profile, backed by evidence, and the right to reply.

Verinode Research scores the software and equipment restoration operators run. The vendor portal is where you make sure your profile gets the facts right: claim it, correct what we prefilled, back your answers with evidence, and reply to what we publish. It is free, and nothing in it can be bought, which is why a buyer can trust what your profile says.

The portal is opening to vendors now, beginning with the vendors we already score. If yours cannot sign in yet, the portal says so, and [email protected] will tell you when it opens for you.

In the Portal

Everything a buyer reads about you, in one place you can check.

  1. 01

    Claim your profile

Sign in with your work address at your company’s own domain. One verified company claims one profile, and its first contact invites colleagues and removes people who leave.

  2. 02

    Correct the facts we prefilled

We fill in what the public record shows: your categories, features, integrations, company facts and pricing model, each marked as coming from public sources. Where it is wrong, you correct it in place.

  3. 03

Answer the security questions with evidence

Audits and certifications, encryption, sign-in, where customer data is stored, subprocessors, incident response, backups, uptime, data export, and whether customer data trains AI models. Only you answer these, and each answer sits beside the document that proves it.

  4. 04

Add your logo, screenshots and videos

They appear on your profile once our research team has checked them, marked as supplied by you. Media is shown, never scored, so a screenshot is not evidence that a feature exists.

  5. 05

    Preview your public page

See exactly what a buyer and a search engine will see, with your pending changes in place, before anything is published.

  6. 06

    Reply to published results

You receive your entry before it is first published or moves by a large amount. Your reply is published next to the result, in your words and labeled as yours.

How a Statement Counts

Evidence moves a score. A statement on its own does not.

Whatever you state appears on your profile right away, labeled as a vendor statement. It counts toward your score only once evidence backs it: an audit report or certificate, public API documentation, a published price sheet, a spec sheet or a warranty document. Our research team checks each document against the evidence the method asks for.

Evidence carries a date. When a report lapses, the fact goes back to a statement and the portal asks you to renew it. Every fact on your profile says where it came from, and when your score moves you see the old score, the new one, and the facts that moved it.

Free

Nothing in the portal is for sale.

There is no paid tier, no sponsored placement and no badge to buy. Payment, advertising, sponsorship and membership never move a score, and a vendor with a paid commercial relationship with Verinode is listed as Not scored under our recusal rule. That independence is what makes your profile worth reading, and what makes the evidence you add count.

What stays with operators

  • Peer ratings from the operators who run your product
  • What operators actually pay, from their own invoices
  • How many operators use it

These come from operators’ own data, so you cannot edit them, though you can reply to a published result built on them. The portal never tells you which operators viewed your profile, and closing a portal account does not take a product out of the ratings.

The Method Is Published

Every rule your score answers to, in public.
