What “independent” means here.

01 · Independence

Operator data never flows to carriers or TPAs.

Every other restoration data vendor (Verisk, Cotality, the dominant pricing software) sells operator data back to the insurance carriers and TPAs that operators submit to. Verinode does not, and will not. The commitment is in our data-use policy, and it is the reason this page exists.

02 · Analysis, not replacement

We don't replace tools. We read across them.

Verinode is not another software tool to add to your stack. It is a safe document vault that holds your inbox and your documents, with an AI Co-COO on top. The tools you already use (your estimating platform, your job-management system, your books) stay in place. We read what they produce and what your team writes, fuse it together, and reveal patterns and benchmarks no individual tool can see.

03 · Reciprocal data trust

Every anonymized contribution returns a tangible benefit.

The intelligence layer is built from operator contributions. Operators who contribute see deeper benchmarks and richer peer context than operators who don't. It is a trade, not an extraction. Your anonymized data joins the network, and you gain insights that only exist because the network exists.

Governance

Operator Advisory Council.

Granting Verinode access to your inbox is a high trust ask, higher than handing over an estimating export. Verinode is an independent, for-profit company, and its data-use policy is governed by an operator advisory council that reviews how operator data flows, what gets aggregated, and what stays private. The council’s remit is the data-use policy, not the company’s commercial decisions. Independence is a structural commitment, encoded in the data-use policy. Not a marketing line.
