How It Works
Payroll and P&L, straight from the tools you already have. No migration.
Every operator's books, normalized to one chart of accounts, so the number is honest.
Your rate, the gap to your peers, the decision to make. Drafted.
Common Questions
Labor burden is everything an hour of labor costs beyond base wage: payroll taxes, workers' compensation, benefits, vehicles, owned equipment, and paid non-job time like PTO and training. For restoration operators it often adds 25 to 50 percent on top of base pay, which is the difference between a job that looks profitable and one that actually is.
Start with base pay, add employer burden (taxes, insurance, benefits), add the carry for vehicles and field equipment, then divide by the hours you actually bill rather than the hours you pay. Verinode does this from your payroll and profit and loss automatically, blends it across your team, and reconciles the result to your real financials so the rate holds up.
It reconciles to your books. Two operators with identical real profitability can report very different numbers purely from how they bucket costs, so Verinode maps your accounting lines onto one canonical restoration chart of accounts before it builds the rate. When your reported and normalized figures diverge by a meaningful margin, it shows the gap and explains which one to price against.
Your raw payroll and financials live in their own encrypted database that only your AI Co-COO can read. The only thing that ever leaves it is anonymized aggregate, and your data is never shared with anyone. The peer benchmarks you see are built from many operators' books and never expose an individual. Policy, architecture, and methodology are all published so the promise is auditable.
