Collusion needs two things Verinode is designed not to provide: a channel for competitors to share current sensitive figures, and a way to agree on what to charge or pay. Verinode publishes sensitive figures only after a 90-day lag, never recommends a price or a wage, and offers no feature to pool operators into a common position toward any carrier, TPA, or vendor. Its Terms of Service also bar operators from using the benchmarks to coordinate terms with competitors.
